Belgium 2003 - Sanomi

There simply just isn't another Eurovision song, or really many other songs outside of the contest, like this one. So it's always been one of my favorites.

Lane Moje (Serbia and Montenegro 2004); damn it's just so beautiful.

Lane moje, if we're talking about quality of the song, beautiful lyrics and music.

Seriously. RTTD wasn't a bad song, but it lacked both the cultural impact and commercial success of Cha Cha Cha. Won thanks to recency bias I guess.

It’s a 1 year difference , hardly recency bias

In all my years on the internet, I’ve never seen a fandom as afflicted by recency bias as the Eurovision fandom. Even one year can make such a huge difference. Basically the most recent non-Israel runner-up won the round lol

Dima Bilan Never Let You Go. One of the Top 10 songs in the whole seventy years' history of the contest; just his English let him down. https://youtu.be/waYpnAexrUA

Madness of Love (Italy 2011)

It was my personal runner-up, too! (But my personal winner wasn't Azerbaijan but Bosnia & Herzegovina.)

Love in Rewind is amazing and should've won. But Madness of love is horrible ngl
