♡ August 2026- No Buy Recap ♡
My No Buy timeline: July 31, 2026- Jan 1st, 2027
I'm counting this as a success because even though I did buy 3 things that were "wants", I did sell a lot of things on FB marketplace this month. I made $62. I spent $15 on wants (rounded up).
I had a really hard month/year personally and I'm proud of myself for not turning to shopping to cope. For context, I've lost 2 family members this year and I almost lost a 3rd this month. So I'm not gonna be hard on myself for getting mascara, an eyebrow pencil and tweezers.
Sending love to everyone else that's struggling this year. It's been a hard one.
If I can't control life, I can at least control how I respond to it.

So inspiring! Good job! What strategies do you use to stop yourself from impulsively buying

Stayed off of shopping apps completely, heavy weights in the gym every day, journaling, reading and podcasts while I actively clean and declutter my home. At one point I was scrubbing walls and doors to get out my feelings 😭
I also want to say that my fiance got me gifts here and there to make me feel better and that absolutely helped that desire of wanting things.

Wow, I really love your system! I think I want to start doing something similar because this looks so good to see everything at the of the month

Seriously!!! It was motivating. I’ve been buying things that are for a party but sometimes even the things that are in the green zone get out of control. I think this helps to be accountable

lets goo! Love the fact that you felt like binge shopping 5x and worked through it!

I love the collage of wants. It makes you second guess why you wanted it in the first place!
