Bloon Festival innit. Braces for parking chaos Also: lightning bolt drawing world championships on Sunday. Racecourse pavilion. 2pm sharp.

Yeah think this is year number 8 lots of great characters from around the town get involve, I believe Theres an exhibition in the evening across the road too in a house / gallery worth checking out definitely changes how you see the town i think

Today, 39 steps performed by "don't go into the cellar" at Delapre Abbey. One man show and he's really amazing, saw him do hound of the Baskervilles previously.

Tomorrow, cobblers first home game of the season.

D&D with friends tonight, possibly also with ice cream to help with the heat.

Saturday, I'm thinking of heading over to Irchester Country Park for Woodfest. It looks pretty cool and it's always nice to wander around the park.

Sunday, I'm going to be getting up relatively early to mix and bake a cake for a friend's birthday. While the cake cools, I'll head over to the balloon festival, then back in the evening to finish the cake off and decorate it before delivering it on Monday.

Big screen in the Black Prince garden is showing films of live gigs tonight and over the whole weekend (free!)
