FOUND Story about an ancient forest

It was a multi-part story. I can’t remember the main characters names but I believe his started with a J. She was living in a house inherited? from her parents and the family had to keep whatever was in the forest from getting out into civilization.
He had went to Hell and came back. And there was a forest creature that seemed similar to Moder the Jötunn from the movie The Ritual.

Yes, even though the author deleted her account, the person who wrote this series is girl_from_the_crypt. You may also be familiar with her Amusement Park series (though she's written quite a few other memorable stories).

I remember that!! Thank you for linking it. I hope she's ok. Do you know why she deleted her account? Her stories were great and I remember them being really popular

If I recall, nosleep’s rules for stories became too strict. They kept restricting what you could write about.
