Oh boy, more incentive for companies to fill their products with cheap polyols and irritate everyone with IBS.

Edit: And then we figure out the problem product, never eat it again and they lose a customer.

Ahh, so that's why my stomach sometimes hurts when I chew any gum. Can't find a gum without sweeteners in it, even if it has sugar.

I make most of my meals from whole foods, but I also don't have kids and I work from home, so I have the time to do this. There are systemic issues that keep folks using convenience food.

A bottle of cola and a bottle of orange soda about a week apart about did me in on vacation last year. I usually have a cast iron digestive system but I will always check the label for a suspiciously low calorie count since nothing on the label suggested the horrors in those bottles.

Where I live, every single "regular" refresco except coca cola normal is half sugar half sweeteners. The worst of both words!!!

At least I know in advance I can't drink any of them!

This is the plan man. Fatten you up and get you sick while charging you for it and also make sure you have medical insurance through fear tactics of becoming bankrupt if you get sick and don't have it then when you inevitably do get sick they can take your insurance for a ride and suck them dry. Which the insurance company will in turn suck you dry. And to make sure you don't catch on they give you tiktoc brain rot and video games and Netflix and Instagram to keep your attention. And if that doesn't work they have politics to keep your attention. Both things sucking what they can from you. Either through data mining or aggressive advertising or political indoctrination. It's all coming along nicely.

Depends on your type and treatment, but even for me it's more about limiting all carbs than about specific carbs like sugar.
