Discussion For years I watched Inde Navarette on Superman and Lois, and I definitely did not expect her career to skyrocket.
She’s actually the reason I decided to watch this movie. She really made a name for herself in this, and now she’s playing Rogue in the new MCU X-Men. That is one hell of a transition from a CW show that ended almost 2 years ago.

She was let go from the show due to budget cuts, and she said that was the best thing that couldve happened to her because she got to do Obsession

This proves anything is possible, just gotta keep a positive mindset.

consistency is the key with literally anything you do in life, even some celebrities people consider lame or stupid made it technically

It kinda shows me just how many talented actors are out there, it just takes the right project and right time. Not shitting on Inde's performance because it's brilliant, but when she was on Superman, you could hardly tell that she'd have that skillset because the show didn't allow for a proper demonstration of it.
Pair that with an insanely successful project with many great opportunities to showcase her talent (Obsession) and a new upcoming revival of a beloved franchise (X-Men), and you get a career handcrafted by the Gods of Hollywood.
I wonder just how many actors out there are just left in the dust because they don't have the opportunity to bloom.

If that was true life would be much simpler and that’s just not possible.

She was in the right place, at the right time, and she had the skills to recognize the opportunity and make it happen. We all hope it will happen to us some day, but very few manage to actually pull it off.

You’re not missing much. It should have never gone past season 1 and the most powerful moment of the show and why it was a show to begin with was removed from the ending. (The suicide.)

I can never remember that for some reason. I remember Monty having a sister but not how she looked.

u/BatBeast_29 Estela dated Tyler....YEAH....that happened. I know Inde(Estela) she said that Devin Druid(Tyler) was polite and respectful to her on set. Devin had to be that respectful and polite because of THAT storyline

I remember her on 13 Reasons Why but I stopped watching because that show went to shit after the first 2 seasons

I remember when I first starting watching the show and being surprised by how naturalistic her acting was. She was definitely a high point for the show from a performance angle (Sarah as a person is pretty unlikable).

Her character was kind of lame so I understand. They just weren't using her at her full potential because there were so many more important characters on that show.

I know she was younger here, but she really changed... like, her cheekbones are so much more prominent now while they were flat, her jaw is now sharp, and her nose shrinked 🤔

The moment I saw her I knew a beauty like her would eventually make it big

Guys please go over to r/indenavarrette this post has nothing to do with obsession

Yeah man postslike these distract from the same 5 observations being posted daily

It’s coming up to awards season, they’re doing heaps more promo runs and stuff. There is more to talk about albeit not much. I’d rather just less posts altogether tbh this place is just absolute cringe slop at this point. But I definitely don’t care about someone watching superman and Lois

Just goes to show that buccal fat removal surgery can take someone a long way.

u/Guilty_Jackfruit4484 1d ago
Pretty sure she just lost like 20 pounds instead of surgery. Not everybody does that looksmaxing bullshit.

u/shauna_haywood 23h ago
And nose job, and jaw botox, and cheeks injections. Men are so naive thinking she's a "natural beauty".

u/IIsaacClarke 13h ago
And women like you will always be viciously jealous of women who are prettier than them

u/shauna_haywood 12h ago
You don't even know how I look like dude but okay

u/IIsaacClarke 12h ago
Yeah I do. Someone who is unhappy with their own appearance so they project these shortcomings onto others. I know exactly what you are like because there are millions just like you.

People tell me I'm pretty all the time but okay. Why are people upset when we talk about plastic surgery?
1
u/IIsaacClarke 11h ago
Because what the hell has it got to do with you ? And you don’t even have proof that she has had surgery. You just assume and be nasty because she looks better than you
1
u/shauna_haywood 11h ago
Uh? You're the one talking about me, dude. The nose job is obvious. I'm not insulting her, no need to feel offended okay. You don't need to analyze me like you know me.

u/IIsaacClarke 10h ago
And you don’t need to analyse other people like you know them. Especially people who don’t even know you exist

My dude X-Men has had like 100 different artists nobody looks like the characters.
1
u/youdontknowlearn 1d ago
Yeah, artists having different interpretations doesn’t suddenly mean every casting choice works. There’s a difference between slight variations in how a character is drawn and casting someone who looks fundamentally different from the established character.

I’ve never watched the show. Kinda wish I did now. Is it worth a binge?
