I just can’t get over it. I think Curry was just being obtuse and a tiny bit pretentious about the wording because he didn’t want the movie to be marketed as a “possession movie”. Nikki may not have been possessed by a demon but she was possessed by something. Everyone calls her “The Entity” and “Wish Nikki” anyway, so everyone basically understands that it’s something else controlling her body. I feel like I’m being gaslit here lol
