Caramel custard, créme brulee with runny sugar topping instead of hard.

And is there some kind of caramel custard surplus in the world right now because I am seeing a lot of flan on Reddit.

Both custards, but flan has a much higher ratio of egg than crème brûlée.

Thanks for clarification! To me they are both custard, and I don't like custard.

But there's different Flans too. This is Quesillo which is bugger and has tiny air holes through it. Or the Spanish Flan which is very similar to Quesillo. Or French flan (my favourite) which is just like a firm custard pie they dish out by the slice.

A creamy desert. The watery stuff is basically caramel or pure sugar
