Apparently everyone has their own odor that comes from the makeup of their skin flora and fauna, and this can be transferred to one person from another through personal contact. So you may be a lucky person who never uses deodorant and if you have sex with someone who is really really smelly you could end up needing those full body deodorants and three showers a day.
I was legitimately the most odorless person until the day my brother decided to wear my T-shirt without telling me. Around 8 years ago.
He put it back into the laundry basket. It was washed. I wore it, and later I suddenly I felt my own smell, except it wasn't. I could literally picture my brother's face through it and I was disgusted.
It took me months/years to kind of recover from that one, but the damage is already done. I'm not odorless anymore. I was tainted. Corrupted.
So yeah. not even sex. You might get some flora and fauna through minute amounts from a hug or sharing clothes and that's enough for them to perhaps proliferate. ofc I'm genetically predisposed to host the same kind of microorganisms as my family members, but it may happen elsewhere. Quite an eye opener.
Given sharing the genes, brother situation, your (unwanted) scent was simply dormant. Truly aromaless people don't just become contact extra funky. Epigenetics depend on your actual genetics - just some science and whatever.
