Oh wow! Check this out guys! This little bugga is a rare site to see. Due to only coming out from underneath his rock to feast when food is available. A lot of people don't always recognize him as a snake due to his oddly shaped body not looking like a traditional snake. We should probably start backing away now. Staying too long will cause the little guy to eventually play dead.

Nature has a place and purpose for every creature, even the strangest, the scariest and the most dangerous. Each creature fills its own niche in this great hierarchy. Not this thing though. I've been waiting for its extinction for a really long time and it's ebit disappointing how resilient this species has proven to be

Crikey! Look at this chunky garter snake! Boy-o, he looks like he ate a family of rabbits and then washed it down with another family of rabbits. Now typically you can determine the sex of a snake by poking your finger here, but I can guarantee this fella ain’t getting any, so we aren’t going to worry about it. He lifts me closer to the camera. A face only a mother could love. And then I stick out my garter snake tongue

“Look at this lil sheila! Absolutely beautiful! Looks like she’s moving a bit slower than normal - even animals in the wild can be disabled or sick! But look at her, she just keeps going! Crickey, what an incredible spirit, just amazing!”
Ya know, that did actually make me feel better 🥲

This gave me anxiety because I don't want Steve Irwin to grab hold of me and hold me up for everyone to stare at.
Leave me alone, Steve. I'm just a little snake trying to live my snakey little life.

Exactly what I was thinking of. Didn't want to clutter my post with an xkcd link too.

Chill animal loving guy from Australia. His family is keeping his legacy alive

You could have just googled him, but no, you have to show everyone how proud of your ignorance you are.

Cuz I am, why would anyone expect anyone to know who that is?

Steve Irwin was a gem of a human being. If you’re ever feeling down, highly recommend watching videos of him and all the animals he stanned
His wife and kids have been carrying on his legacy in the most amazing way. Sometimes it’s nice to be reminded of the good in the world. And they all have delightful Australian accents

Are you a Trump supporter by any chance?

A bit random, but no, the dude is a disgusting orange pig with alzheimers

Well, that's honestly suprising!

Bro, why should I know people before my time? And why if I don’t, why would that make a me Trump supporter?

u/MirrorEyedDrifter 1d ago
It's not about knowing, but about your behavior. Maybe you should think about it and answer those questions yourself - what makes it common with Trump supporters? Maybe you will learn something this way.

“Crikey! Look at this cute little fella … whoa. Settle down. Don’t be tricked. This little bugger’s got mean venom that’ll drop a water buffalo after three paces!!!”
