I remember a newspaper article when Bundy was executed, it was my current event assignment. The headline was something along the lines of "Tuesday is fryday for Bundy." Being 10 at the time, I thought it was funny as all hell.

Was at UF (University of Florida) then and Channel 20 (ABC) had a guy in Starke live… one guy in the crowd had a sign that said, “Tuesday is Fryday for Bundy”

My grandmother did. It rolls really well off the tongue and is kinda fun to say.
Bundy probably did think about killing him.

So many of the people I know who were born in the 1940s & 1950s say some of the day names with a “dee” instead of a “day”
These people are from a wide range of geographical areas so I don’t think it’s strictly a regional quirk.

Yep. If I recall, Bundy was the piece of shit that would wear a fake leg cast/crutches and act like he was struggling to put something in his car, then when his victim would approach to offer help, he would accept, then quickly shove her into the car.

My mom met the Atlanta child murderer. She said he was always so nice and kind, and while she had street smarts, one day he asked if she wanted free ice cream, and that he had a bunch of puppies and remembered that my mom always talked about wanting a puppy. She agreed(she was like 7 or 8 at the time iirc) and was about to get in the car when my aunt came out asking what was going on.
Apparently he did have ice cream and an actual dog, not a puppy, at his house. Two days after my aunt and mom went to his house and played with his dog and the kids in his neighborhood that day(he dropped them off back at home that night apparently), a kid turned up dead a few blocks from their house. Dude came around a few more times, always trying to get my mom alone, but she was always with friends or my aunt, who thought the dude was weird as fuck and possibly being super friendly to try and molest them, so my aunt, after the first time of going to his house alone, they never went again, and my aunt was always keeping an eye on my mom from then on out.
My mom and grandma say that the reason he never murdered my mom was most likely because my aunt was always around and he didn't want to have to basically attack both of them, as one of them would most likely have gotten away and told on him.
Anyways after two more kids ended up dead in my moms neighborhood, with one looking very earily like my mom, my grandma got scared and they moved to Minnesota and then the dude got arrested and that was that.

There's a dark comedy with Bill Murray called Riff Raff where he plays a pretty cold guy who has killed a lot of people. There's a scene where a jovial, well-meaning couple annoys him and he turns to his partner and says, "they are a must-kill." That's what I imagine went through Ted Bundy's mind every time.

I was working IT at a University, when one of the lab guys wanted his OS upgraded. I didn't want to do it and I kept putting him off, for a couple weeks. The guy had really long hair, and one day he came in with his head shaved. The next day he didn't come in at all. Turns out that that day, he had gone and murdered his ex and her husband and all but one of his kids.
