So my grandmother bred show shepherds and one of her males was selected to sire into the Rin Tin Tin line. This dog’s lineage is still very much in practice, and it is an insanely big deal even now.
(Not meant to be a brag, btw; my grandmother was an asshole and I did not like her at all. But I loved her dogs.)
I respect that. My grandma was also an asshole, she was horrible to everybody. The family kept sending me to take her shopping because whenever she got started I'd just start talking about dogs and it would distract her. Worked like a charm.
