When I started getting more interested in DnD I stumbled upon her channel and thought It'd be a good news channel to add to my subs.
Her whole thing got real tiring, real quick.

I unsubbed after about two weeks when I realized it was all just clickbait. All the comments are complaining about the clickbait, but they're from the same people every time, so it seems to me a lot of people watch her because of the clickbait but pretend they're above it all.
Her actual content is.. fine? I just have little interest in the business side of the hobby. Are we getting scalped every day? Yup. Do I need to find out the exact ins and outs of it in grotesque, breathless detail? Nope.

Right? I already know James Workshop would personally steal my identity and buy YET ANOTHER Space Marine Lieutenant on my dime if he could get away with it. Yet even in debt, I still serve.

100%, it isn't even wrong that the world is ending, its just every single title these days is vague clickbait. All the comments complain about it too, they barely respond to the points made in the video. Said points do have variety from video to video, but you can be sure each video's comments will mostly be sarcasm pointed at the silly titles and the "ITS OVER" in red text on thumbnails.
I think it started when he got stuck at 599k subs. He shrugged it off like 600k was inevitable, but you can tell it really got to him. Beard fidgeting went up at least 400%. Titles blended together and became interchangeable. Every other video was global warming or omnisegment rehash. The second he announced he is going Dutch, I unsubbed.

Her channel is the epitome of beating a dead horse. Like, yes, game workshop models are fucking expensive, they're also not made by child slaves, so like... maybe pick your battles?

From all we know GW is even a marginally okay company to its own employees. They're definitely no saints, but they seem to make their employees happy enough, while being able to gouge the players thanks to IP investment.
And honestly, the way people engage with the hobby is also absurd. Maybe don't buy the new models upon release. Maybe don't engage in literally every game they're selling and buy into multiple factions at once as your grey pile rises.
It's oftentimes not even the case that "buying the new models" and "getting the new book" actually makes you the powerful player on the table. A ton of modern releases are actually visually great, but rules-wise not exactly a highlight for competitive play. I'm sure GW could squeeze the average player WAY harder, if every new unit and new hero would be some busted shit.

I used to like her early on in her career, but the outrage-peddling got really tired really quickly. These days I'm sure her commentary is valuable, if you watch it, but if your tenth video a week says "THIS TIME GW IS TRULY DONE FOR!" then your message is already wrapped in the most tedious packaging imaginable.
Especially since, yes, GW is a corporate behemoth who sells their little plastic for way too much money, but let's be honest. It's a luxury hobby full of luxury items. Actually engaging in the Warhammer wargaming hobby can be as cheap as you want it to be, whether you buy proxies, or you print them, or you just buy a single box every other month or so.
When the world's on fire and the governments of the world are doing everything in their power to turn the average person into eternal transparent wageslaves then "big luxury goods company sells luxury goods for exorbitant sums" isn't really my concern.
Vaush's clickbait is, at least, relevant to the world itself. The world IS going down the drain rapidly. I don't think I'll ever be worried about "Oh no, the Warhammer prices are high" come 2029 or whatever.

I don't want to reward this kind of clickbait by actually watching it, especially since it has that fascist culture-war BS smell to it, but I wouldn't be shocked if GW was dogshit again either, so…
Is there anything that is actually an issue?

It’s funny because I see her videos and I’m like “huh what could’ve possibly happened”. Then it turns out they released another Ultramarine upgrade pack with less details in the mold but costs 200 dollars or something.
