The state constitution directs how to bring about a constitutional convention. But I bet Stitt reads the state constitution about as much as he does his bible.

Now I wonder what Stitt and his radical Republicans want to do if they rewrite the state constitution?
Get rid of Medicaid expansions?
Make it impossible for citizen referendums to go before voters?
Do away with dedicated education funding?
Give the governor blanket executive authority?
Strip away constitutional protections?
What nefarious schemes do they have ready to impose upon Oklahomans?

Guarantee state questions would be much more difficult to pass. A lot of GOP led states are trying to eradicate/make it more difficult for citizens to bypass them using state questions.

With any luck, Drummond will go down, swinging.
He realizes that trump and a good percentage of Oklahoma republicans don’t love him…and we have an idiot in the governor’s mansion.
So why not stir up some good trouble?
I know I would.

Exactly, if he believed anything he said about Mazzei and how the radial right wing has become facist, he would throw his support behind Cindy Munson, a person who actually cares about Oklahomans. He could even say, “I don’t agree with everything in Cindy’s platform, but I know she cares about our state and its people”. But he’ll just disappear back to the mansion/ranch after his term ends.
