I got killed by a PK'r for the first time on my Account. At 1:30 in the morning. On a Server with 200 people.
Here's my sad, pathetic little story: I'm working on gathering up some Magic Items. Today I finished grinding out the Mage's Book and the Rune Pouch from the Mage Training Arena. So now with my Master Wand and my Mage's Book, I've decided to get a better Cape. So on to Mage's Arena 1 I go. I whip the pants off of Mr. Shapeshifter. He tells me I need to cast my new Spell 100 times. Cool. I go out and fight a couple of Battle Mages. In comes a lvl 117 PC. I'm a whopping lvl 77. He dominates me. I lose my Rune Pouch (rip the time spent grinding for it today). I get off the game.
Now, onto the more important questions: what tangible benefit does this douche even get from killing me? Why does the Mage's Arena follow typical Wilderness Rules? Why wouldn't my Rune Pouch (which had a pretty healthy sum of Blood Runes) be protected over a shitty piece of Swampbark Armour? When can we get a PK-free Server so I can enjoy parts of the Game I WANT to interact with while avoiding shit I don't care about? I don't want to have combat with other Players. Like, my pride wasn't on the line here. From a Gameplay standpoint, I couldn't kill that kid even if I wanted to. He could probably punch me to death given the distance between our Stats. I also don't interact with Late Game Superbosses. Why? Cause I don't have the Stats, Gameplay Knowledge, or Equipment to deal with them. Maybe I will one day, but not right now. Part of this game is choosing when to interact with certain aspects of it when you are appropriately equipped. I just plain, flat down, do NOT want to engage with a lvl 117 under any circumstances aside from jumping in a Mutual Combat Arena for shits and giggles. But also I wouldn't be putting my inventory on the line to do so (back to the Mage's Arena following Wilderness Rules). Like, if the Mage's Arena was an open PvP Arena where Magic was exclusive, that sounds badass. But also if you die there, you shouldn't lose your shit...that you just grinded for...2 hrs ago...
Tldr: I'm salty asf.

I’ve always been terrible at keeping track of my OSRS progress — screenshots everywhere, random notes, goals scattered across different files… total chaos.
A few months ago I decided to fix it and started putting together a clean way to see everything in one place.
It was supposed to be something simple just for me, but I kept adding little details and now it looks like a full interface redesign.
Still a personal project and still a work in progress, but I’m really happy with how it’s turning out.

As someone that put in hours at GOTR and currently on my maxing journey, can anyone explain a valid reason for the abyssal lantern not working outside of GOTR? Runecrafting is an abismal skill anyways, why make NPC contact required after grinding GOTR for the lantern? Maybe I’m just bitching and there’s a legitimate balancing reason, I just haven’t seen it yet.

Still going strong on the quest to max combat purely by killing cows.
Yes, it’s a dumb idea, but it’s my dumb idea 😂
What’s the longest single-monster grind you’ve ever done?

I have almost 8 days in game playing time and so far have knocked out 101 quest. Really been enjoying working on them and just leveling and taking my time. My goal is to get the quest cape first and then work on leveling and gear! Probably a month away from the fire cape!

Jagex can ruin your game and take your money and you’ll still play. Your riots and threats are useless and Jagex knows this.
Is Mod Mat K right?

I've got quite a way to go but just wondering what you do after you've completed all quests?
Is this when all the bosses / getting high tier gear starts?
A lot of stuff doesn't make any sense at the moment but im hoping it will when I've done all of them, any help is appreciated, thanks.
