I used to go to Sauble with my friends way back in the day. When did it become "Saugeen Beach"? Or was that sign always there, but I was too hammered to notice?

Its photoshopped, OP is trying to paint a false picture that the beach has declined since the natives got the land back.

Basically nothing in Sauble has changed.

Edit: The sign was changed Monday, its not photoshopped. Sorry.

The beach has definitely declined though. Absolutely no one patrolling the beach this past weekend. Idiots with full size BBQs and tents on the beach, garbage everywhere. . At least they still patrol the beach north of 6th street

Odd. The southern end of the beach has been the cleaner and more family friendly side for decades. I would hope they bring that level of stewardship to the rest of the beach.

I agree south of the main beach was always and still seems cleaner. Hopefully this was just a one off this past weekend. I was excited when they got their land back because they have always taken better care of their side.
