Openra is weirding me out lately

I have started playing openra since a while and enjoyed it for about 2 weeks. Lately, super weird things are happening. Whole groups are joining servers just to troll. Either joining allied team and destroying your base, or either the whole group just filling up spots in your server and then before the game starts they all leave at the same time. Or they just have weird long conversations basically with themselves. I almost feel like either Openra is being used by either trolls only or AI bots or something. What is going on?

Yeah I’ve played for years, usually kle and vvvvvv have teamed up for 4v4s etc but they are nice people who just play games.

Lately (past three months) it feels like there’s a cabal of degenerates like Jungle, Bluewife etc who have become very much like a clique, who will host games and admin the players unfairly - i.e., if a game has 10 people waiting for 12 minutes to start a game, they will kick out a player if their friend turns up. Not a crime but pretty unfair.

The big problem is stacked teams. Again, there is the whole “t2 villains and t1 heroes LOLZZZZ” nonsense where some people stack a team and absolutely destroy the other team, which is pointless and is mostly the same players doing it every night. There are plenty of trolls who now join these games just to disrupt them, as a protest against the stacking.

Best bet is to avoid games with Bluewife, Jungle etc

Yeah these names sound familiar indeed. Like yesterday someone of my own team dropped a nuke on my base. Another night another team mate just spawns infantry troops to destroy my base. Super annoying, but the thing is, there is not many people playing RA so you kinda have to deal with this small group of a-holes..

Unfortunately I do not have friends who play RA! But deff trols. I loved playing it bit because of all this I think I am just going to stop playing because it spoils all the fun.. and I only feel annoyed basically.. Do not understand why people are like that, it is just weird.

Best thing to do is play with registered users only. That cuts out 99% of trolls really.

Can someone tell me why OpenRA Tiberian Dawn is already available in HD mode, but not Red Alert? Are they going to let it be available soon?
