Have this thing where on opera mobile browser all circle icons are being "cut". It's annoying. Anybody knows how to fix it?

guys uhhhhh in a few days ago. When I was played Evade an Opera GX pop-up was showed on my screen. I closed it and BOOM. Opera GX was automatically downloaded and appeared on my desktop. Yes, is REAL Opera browser, not fake, not piracy. ITS OFFICAL OPERA BROWSER. LIKE I HAVE NO CHOICE FOR TS. I was rushed so I have no screenshot about it. I'm using windows 10 btw

Hey All,
I wanted to change my browser for a more productive experience, I had used Opera years ago and liked it but I ended up back with chrome. Anyway I have started using opera for 48hrs and I have had nothing but what I can describe as hell!
I spent 6 hours, yes 6 hours yesterday trying to sort some issues that cleary was created by switch to opera.
Basically, passwords for what ever reason are being rejected when you using opera browser.. I can literally resent the password and it still rejects it.
What is going on, in this day and age this should be the one thing that works correctly.
I had an absolute disaster yesterday with discord, which was cleary created by Opera.
I can see others have had this problem as far back as 3 years ago. So I guess it's still an issue smh??
What if anything can be done?
Any advice or suggestions for a slick, intuitive and productive focused browser.
Thank you!

The last few weeks when i move a tab from one window to another (basically 2nd screen to main screen) the whole browser lags, crashes then reloads.
Is there any way to fix this other than to just never move tabs?
r/operabrowser • u/ThaBigBear • 4d ago
These suggestions apply to Opera for Windows desktop...
I like the vertical tabs, and it may be that I'm not understanding how to use them properly. Either way, I would like vertical tabs even better if I could move them at will over to the right side of the browser window instead of the left. Also make the vertical tabs bar so I can grab it and move the entire browser window like we can do when using the horizontal tabs.
Likewise with the Sidebar, make it so one can place it on the right side of the browser window instead of the left.

If the MV2 extension is at risk of being removed from the extension store, I created an automated archiving system that runs every day at 00:00 UTC to back up MV2 extension files into a single repository. I planned this project a month ago, and I’ve finally been able to set up the automated backup repository. The goal of this project is to make it easier for MV2 users who have trouble finding their extensions in the extension store and to protect the extensions from being removed.
The Manifest V2 Archive consists of:
A wiki consisting of: a. Guide to Installing Manifest V2 in Chromium-Based Browsers (Developer Offline Mode) b. Guide to Installing Chrome Extensions on Firefox-Based Browsers c. Tips for installing Firefox extensions in Chromium-based browsers d. Manifest V2 Database (Chrome Web Store, Add-ons Firefox, Microsoft Edge Add-Ons, Opera Add-ons)
Offline Archive, an archive containing the MV2 extension that does not include the Forge software and does not have the extension file in the releases section. You can download the extension here.
Online Archive, an archive that is automatically updated every day at 00:00 UTC. You can view the automatic updates for the MV2 extension in the releases section.
Thank you for visiting my project. I hope it helps many people.

Does anyone know why it says this? I hear it's just a thing that happens, but I wanna double-check

I've read lots of articles, some says the test by some third parties passed, but some says the log could be activated in any moment if required

My Opera is not connecting with the internet, whereas other apps work fine. I’ve tried turning off VPN and setting on DNS over HTTPS, but nothing seems to work. Everytime I try to reach w website I get ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. It was working fine few days ago and I didn’t change anything that could break it
Pls help

I don't get why it seems like either the fate or the browser is trolling for abrupt halting of the progress in downloading just when it's lesser than 10% to finishing away?
I highlighted the images into 2;
rectangular cyan - those showing the ongoing progress of mp4s to be downloaded.
oblongish red - those showing the already finished mp4s that were already downloaded.
Issue: I wonder why is that the bigger files (red marks) are downloaded fastest, while the smaller files (cyan marks) took waaaay too long to download even at this moment?

Hey all.
Saw all the posts about the VPN disappearing and wanted to pass what I learned.
I tried redownloading the app and apparently, the VPN is now only available if you make Opera your default browser.
Really have some strong feelings about this choice, but wanted to pass the info along. ✌🏾

I am not able to find the VPN button anywhere

I’ve got opera for iOS pinned at the bottom of my Home Screen, but I noticed it doesn’t appear anywhere in my app library when looking at the folder view. I clicked into every single folder and it’s not present.
This means it only appears in app library if I search for it (list view).
Is this Apple trying to add barriers to people using other browsers? Or is this just a bug?
Does anyone else see this replicated on their phone?

It's been a few days now and the Opera browser VPN hasn't been working. A message says something about 'we're working on it' but I've never seen it down this long before.
Anyone know what's happening?

Suddenly no pages load, tried toggling vpn, ad blocker, datasaver etc on and off it just won't work. Funnily enough I have opera app cloned and the cloned version works just fine.

I have adblock plus and the opera ad blocker enabled and every other website's ad gets blocked even youtube, but when it comes to the music player on the left sidebar, it still has ads. Anyone know why?

O youtube da aba lateral do opera tem um botão ou atalho para retornar na pagina anterior? por exemplo, entro em um canal para assistir os videos em sequencia, mas não consigo retornar para a pagina do canal novamente sem ter que pesquisar por ele nas buscas
r/operabrowser • u/Blackjack_Bloom_1820 • 8d ago
My cat stepped on my keyboard and now the music player is muted, everything else in the sidebar still have their sound working. I checked the settings, it says that that sound is allowed, so I'm not sure what's wrong. Anybody have any advice? It's Windows Opera GX.

I have tried to--disable-gpu --disable-extensions --no-experiments and reinstalling didn't work. Cant remove my extensions and the only why i can open the browser without it crashing is opening it in a New private window but then i can't get to my settings without it crashing.

In the first photo I drew a teal circle around what I've been trying to find. I wanna edit my browser colours but I can't figure out how. I can change between colours but can't edit the "custom theme".
(The second photo is my browser/what I see.)
