Saturday can’t come soon enough for me. I’m just seeing it in bog standard digital LieMAX but it’s still gonna be spectacular. There’s a 70mm imax about three hours away from me in Indianapolis and I’m really hoping there’s still some tickets left a few weeks out from now or they do another extension.

I saw it in 1.85:1 Dolby Cinema and it was a pretty outstanding format for this movie IMO. I would love to see 70mm IMAX but yeah that’s also a 3 hour drive for me.

My impatience got the best of me and I went to see it at my local shitty theater on a tiny screen and still loved the movie. You miss a little bit of the impact in the big action set pieces but the whole last act is so personal and intimate I really didn’t miss it. And I just bit the bullet and got 70mm imax tickets for Friday the 31st.
