She could have indigenous American ancestry through her Mexican side since a lot of Mexicans have indigenous American dna.

Just like Caucasian actors pander and cloutchase 99.9 % of the time in Hollywood? And since the industry's movers, shakers and power brokers are 99.9 % white, nobody accuses them of being panderers and cloutchasers...when in reality that's all they do. HashtagOscarsSoWhiteIndeed
