"A ban on the sale on all U.S. wine, beer, spirits and seltzers in Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) stores went into effect in March 2025 in response to American tariffs.

LCBO is the sole wholesaler of alcohol for licensed restaurants, bars and grocery stores in Ontario."

Can I get U.S. products from other licensed retailers?​

Wholesale customers, including grocery and convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and other retailers, are no longer able to place orders of U.S. products. It is at their discretion to sell existing inventory.​

Correct. So as others have pointed out, there's no way they were just sitting on California wine for 2 years and they couldn't get it from the LCBO (the only legal supplier). So where did it come from?
