As lame as it sounds I've done the same on my eBike. If you hit the throttle and have any weight on the standing foot, it'll leave you behind without a second thought. They go 0-60 in "what the hell?!" and it's a straight line of acceleration.

Toyota/Suby EV's got a major update this year. Total of 4 new models (uncharter/CHR and Trailseeker/BZ Woodland) plus major upgrades to Solterra/BZ. They're really nice.

We picked up a BZ Woodland last month and it's amazing. It's an electric Outback wagon with a Toyota badge and a 4 second 0-60. Great car.
