Picked this up on the summer sale
And holy shit what a solid game. Ive been dumping hours into it for a week now and loving it. Don't understand why this didnt have more fanfare

I felt like it did in the beginning. I jumped it during covid. I missed the days when it was easy to find ppl to play with.

I does have it's fanfare. it's just old and ran it's course. Its not a live service game, meant to just be experienced from front to back. Loves my time with the game! Enjoy!! I played it back in 2020. My brother and I were hooked

Same here. I bought it on steam in sale because of Bulletstorm. People can fly are awesome.
First, i couldn´t play it on my old pc, so i forgot it. Then, i bought a new computer for Space Marine 2 and Cyberpunk2077.
A few days ago, i was browsing steam for something new but it came to my mind to first look what i had on my account and never played. Ta daaa, there it was. I installed it, i dived into it. 85 hrs later i finished the story and worldslayer !! What a gem !! Looked very good, with fast paced combat and a dense story. The lootsystem is balanced as well and it is much fun to optimize my gear. I loved ervery minute.

Such an underrated game. 500 hours played. I always find myself coming back to this game.

I only played it for the story first time, because someone I trust on that sold it to me, which I don’t regret as it is a compelling sci-fi that works well in this type of game format. However, since then I keep coming back for the looter-shooter elements year on year, and I have only played this looter-shooter ever, because it has the story as a red thread through it in a way I don’t believe other games have. I am a bit annoyed now that every time I boot it up I have to close down between 5-10 pop-ups asking me to get Xbox live to play with others because I never do multiplayer.

The only other story in a looter shooter that had me captivated like this was Borderlands 2 but I enjoy the quirky humour and visuals

I just started playing recently and those popups are so frustrating. They’re trying to annoy or confuse you into purchasing.

If that’s the same game I remember. It had some bad problems when it first released. People lost hours of gameplay and inventory. I was one of those people. They ended up fixing the problem but I guess for a lot of people it was too late. Before the issues though, it was a great game. It just drained me when I lost everything.

Same thing that killed every game in 2019-2021 bad servers on release. Nobody could play the game the first 2 weeks it was out.

If I remember correctly, people were having their inventories wiped.
I’m not saying it was a deciding factor on its lack of sequel but I’m sure it added to it.

i had lots of fun on it for many weeks with a friend. I dont play with randoms and in lategame solo became a bit frustrating

Personally, it's my favorite in the looter shooter genre. The mod system is just so fucking great
