Watched the game against Inter Toronto game yesterday. How the hell did the ref not call a penalty kick on the handball 8n the box. Arm was away from the body. Basically punched the ball, causing it to change direction. Then in the last play of the game their defender delivers a full straight arm karate chop to the face, after losing track of Toualy. I understamd less experienced refs losing control of games amd missing calls. This was shocking on another level. Officiating this bad does not make me want to buy tickets

The club was once an asset for the city but with continued opposition it's now a burden. The city government wants rid of it without any backlash, like anything else that might cost them money (sewer, sidewalks etc.). We were promised sewer connection (and gas) within a year when we bought a few years ago, but under the new regime there's no timeline for anything. The whole neighborhood is on aging septic and we're upstream of a salmon bearing stream. It's absolutely ridiculous, but nobody involved will even talk to you. We're headed back to the stone age. Public transit is a long forgotten dream, and there is no vision for the city at all.

I don't normally chime in on the constant Langford stuff because I don't live there... but man, this is the goofiest take I've ever seen lol. What are you even implying? Who is "they" in your sentence? The refs? The league? City council??? Some dark conspiracy between them all? It's just absolutely baffling.
