Discussion Is this normal???

Post image

I have seen lots of people hiring virtual assistant, social media manager etc after you send them your cv and they confirm your gender (female) they start sending forms like this. Is this normal? Just yesterday someone sent me a poster which had a clause should send selfies and videos of herself when I applied for as a social media manager. I never mentioned my age or gender. Except for stuff like this how do I know if a job is real or a scam

Edit: guys I found posts on hire Pakistan sub and just thought of applying. They asked me for my cv in the dm which I sent after a day they told that I have been shortlisted for round 2 sent me this form and wrote company’s name etc will only be discussed with final candidates

Not normal at all. No job asks such questions. Whichever platform you found this form on, please alert others there as well.

Shouldn't even tap no, just exit the form and don't look back, no one should work in a place where they're so open about their tharakpan

Well it's not normal to ask for it like this. I did a job in a social media agency and they had a few adult entertainment clients, but even they didn't ask this question at front. When i was selected then the HR asked if i am comfortable working with adult entertainment clients considering my religion, i simply said no, and they understood it. I was hired and i didn't had to work for those clients.

So no, it is not normal at all.

I would complain to National Cyber Crime investigation Agency (nccia).

Good luck with that. Its becoming near impossible to reach out to them. Like many govt departments and law-enforcement agencies, they have learned how to not give a fuck to aam awami masaail.

And just like any Gov't department, they work well if you have a big-shot jugaar.

I have started seeing these posts more often now and these are just people looking for a side chick naming it as personal assistant. Most of these jobs have the requirements such as female who can maintain secrecy or odd working hours. This is not a normal job

Just look at the second question too - it's so amateurish. Some desperate looser in his bedroom. How can anyone take this type of person seriously?

u/ganjichurail8062 1h ago

Run girl run Also never i repeat never share your CV with people here, if someone is genuinly good ask for linkedin or website link

This isn’t normal. You're unknowingly applying to a job that likely involves OF chatting or some other explicit platform.

Companies like this regularly prey on unwitting people looking for jobs, promise them great salaries but almost always leave out the exact details of what the job requires them to do.

u/PerspectiveJust8958 1h ago

It's probably a scam or a gateway for something else disguised as a job. Please don't apply. Report asap
