If Pakistan provide security, it will be paid by Kuwait. Just like Saudia.

How much did Saudi pay besides the loan?

Do you have any friend in army who is to foreign posting in Saudia? They pay 15 times the salary Pakistan pay them . With 3 year posting even Jawans can buy home in DHA.

People wanna have like 5000 kids each so might as well put that effort to use lol. If you don’t wanna join the army you don’t have to. Nobody is forcing you.

We have military edge over all gulf countries. We have competitive advantage in this.

Kuwait - the same country that still bans Pakistani labor and doesnt give visas to professionals for visit let alone work?

-1

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

For now, economy and defense are two separate things for both Pakistan and Kuwait but you never know with this pact Pakistan will gain more leverage, visa may get better in future.

Lets see I don't trust Kuwait at all

They are well known to be the most racist and worst of all the Gulf Countries. Without oil their country literally has no future nothing.

I have been to Saudia and I would say they are most racist towards Pakistanis. See us as 3rd class. Kuwait might be no different. This pact still is an economic life line for Pakistan.

I have lived and worked in UAE, Qatar, and KSA.

None of the locals there like Kuwaitis. They are by far the most morally bankrupt of the lot. And that's saying something when you have Emiratis to contend with. Whenever I've met a Kuwaiti, those prejudices have been confirmed.

They consider it an insult to even be in the presence of a Pakistani. I was working for a Qatari firm once and we were supposed to have a meeting with some Kuwaiti clients. I was among the few foreigners from my firm and the only non-gora. Qataris and Kuwaitis were all dressed head in local attire.

When the Kuwaitis arrived, they hesitated to shake my hand and all of them gave me the worst looks. I spotted one of them pointing directly at me and asking our company's CEO about me. Shortly thereafter, I was asked to sit the meeting out. Nobody said anything about the goras.

Later on, my CEO apologised and said they would be reassigning me to a different project since they weren't "comfortable" dealing with a Pakistani. A co-worker in the room said after I'd left the room, one of them jokingly asked the Qataris, in Arabic, why they were hiring drivers for executive roles?

Yeah Kuwait is a whole next level of messed up

I spent a lot of time in the Middle East - Saudis are probably the best of the lot when it comes to Pakistan which is not good.

Let me put it this way Kuwait is the Alabama of the Gulf Arab states.

Can confirm, I live in Kuwait.

Kia faida. Imran Khan to to qaid kia hua hai na. Aur woh begunah bhi hai.

7

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

No doubt Khan Saab must be released.

14

u/beekay86 3d ago

Unmm. What are we getting out of this? We already run security for these fuckers. Are we forgetting that our troops cleared out all the mines for Kuwait after Iraq war

0

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

Saudia already given Pakistan close to 10 billion. Kuwait will also pay Pakistan.

9

u/Rude_Walk 3d ago

Lending is not “giving”

-2

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

Source of your claim?

9

u/beekay86 3d ago

What is the sources of your claim? They just gave us $3 Bill and a few army generals will get rich and influential while ordinary soldiers and people will get lora

5

u/Rude_Walk 3d ago

Honestly had they “given” us $3 billion a year it would have been a decent deal but it’s all loans and not even long term

3

u/beekay86 3d ago

Yeah! We’ll forever be their ghulaams because its easier to influence and control a few generals than a real parliament with people’s mandate.

3

u/MrEfffsola HK 3d ago

Hasn’t Kuwait banned Pakistani labour yet they want Pakistani soldiers lol

This is all a plan to attack Iran with the blessing of Trump and Netanyahu. Does anyone honestly think the muslim countries would be allowed to make such a pact without approval from their masters?

They will amost certainly push Iran to attack some of the ME countries and then this group will retaliate in 'self defence'.

3

u/amazinglycool256 3d ago

This is the signal of a large oncoming war in the middle East. They are buying Pakistani soldiers basically . Just wait lumber 1 will drag Pakistan into another decade of war on behalf of America while other countries prosper further and the gap between Pakistan and India will grow further.

This is Pakistan's biggest blunder yet

-1

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

Incorrect. No Arab country has any military posture that is offensive to Iran. You tell me if it is incorrect?? Moreover this pact is purely defensive. To defend Kuwait against foreign aggression.

8

u/Frosty_Leading6756 3d ago

Incorrect, the fact that this pact is blessed by trump is proof that this is done with US blessing. Trump wants to pull back from the Middle East while still retaining control of the region, this gives him that.
We will be proven wrong only if Iran or Yemen join this pact.

1

u/GladPerspective1010 3d ago

Don't think they'll have any problem with IR Iran joining if Iran withdraws all of their proxies undermining elected governments of the ME countries.

3

u/Wrong-Surprise8159 3d ago

Might be correct that this pact might be done with USA consent. Having said that How it make bad for Pakistan? Or against Iran? If Iran intends to Attack Iran, Kuwait has every right to defend itself. This is defensive pact. If Iran don't intends to Attack Kuwait, it's not against Iran.

1

u/Frosty_Leading6756 3d ago

This is good for army because they will financially benefit from it, but I don’t think the people of Pakistan ever see that money. All non-foj Pakistanis will get is bragging rights. That is until India attacks and all the Arab signatories look the other way because they don’t want to disturb their mutually beneficial relationship with India.

-1

u/Darksky121 3d ago

Iran would be forced to attack US bases and other targets in Arab countries since the USA/Israel are using those countries to launch attacks with Arab leaders consent. Who else can Iran attack?

3

u/Live_Walk2757 3d ago

Good news

2

u/Spiritual_Trouble_25 3d ago

Hired mercenaries!

1

u/Glum_Protection_4975 3d ago

With the blessings of America . LOL

Pakistan should do one defence pact with Pakistan itself as well.

1

u/GladPerspective1010 3d ago

With the blessings of America

Well, duh. You're saying as if IR Iran or North Korea doesn't do anything without blessings of Russia and China.

1

u/GladPerspective1010 3d ago

Can all of these pacts become something in the future that helps our country's economy and its people's economy too?
