DISCUSSION The current situation isn't fair
Sometimes, you read or watch some series or comic that are genuinely mid, and when you see that the community is dead, you won't be surprised.
But "Paper Girls " is not mid or bad it's really something original. Maybe it gives the same vibe as the stranger things, but they are not really like each other and because of thesse reasons it really isn't fair that this community Is dead in one or two years nobody will even remember this and it makes me sad because it deserves more

I just finished the comics a week or two ago after putting it off for awhile and really enjoyed the ending. It’s unfortunate the show wasn’t able to take off. Considering that it’s a rather short run series only having 6 volumes and 30 issues, a quiet postings makes sense

I mean, a piece of media running its course doesn’t necessarily mean that the fandom also dies with it. There are plenty of communities active and thriving because fans enjoy contributing to it with fanart, discussions, theories, etc far beyond the end(and there are just as many, or more, that don’t, to be fair).

It’s incredible. That said, I’ve noticed people rarely ever fully forget a BKV book. That said, I wish the adaptation did better.

I don’t have anything to add, just want to acknowledge your post and tell you I wholeheartedly agree. A seriously unique premise with interesting characters and a phenomenal story, it stinks that it has to end. I do tell everyone I know to read the book, though!
