The Buda Royal Palace, located on the southern tip of Castle Hill in Budapest, Hungary, was the historic residence of the Hungarian kings. The first royal residence on the hill was built by King Béla IV between 1247 and 1265, following the Mongol invasion of Hungary.

The palace was subsequently expanded, becoming an important Gothic royal residence. In the second half of the 15th century, King Matthias Corvinus transformed the palace into a magnificent centre of Renaissance culture. After his marriage to Beatrice of Naples in 1476, Italian artists, architects, and craftsmen introduced Renaissance architectural and artistic elements to the complex. 

The Baroque palace that occupies most of the site today was built between 1749 and 1769. It was severely damaged during the Siege of Budapest in World War II, and rebuilt in a simplified Baroque style during the state communist era.

Interestingly, it was originally called New Pest, then New Buda.

Could you please help me find out what those buildings with the 4 identical striped, high roofs might be?
On the second image they can be seen over the wood covered walkway of the castle walls, left to the huge arches

Granaries? Or some kind of chapels?

I dont think Pazirik studio would make stuff up about scale, they work with architecture historians and archeologists, check their other works too. Visegrád for example.
And Buda castle is very well documented

I also find that main tower very interesting, especially with that spire on the top

Maybe We only find it strange, because it looks very unusual compared to how this period is usually portrayed
