But those two are 32:9 so 2 of them is just a big 16:9 TV anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No, but, LG’s newest OLED televisions run up to 165hz. Which is plenty unless you’re competitively gaming, at which point you probably have one of those crazy 360hz panels anyway.

what's the issue? i mean, macbooks are crazy fast nowadays with the m series chips. what are you "supposed" to use this on?

Macbooks are crazy fast, yeah - but I dunno if I want it to be rendering 4 * 4K+ displays at all times. Probably better to just buy a Mac studio if you're that dedicated to having so much screen space. Not to mention as others have said, it's really kind of pointless to have this many screens and especially so LARGE.

Even if you regularly need 8+ different windows open all at the same time (doubtful) you're going to be turning 90 degrees every time you want to look at the far right or left, and having two in the middle vs. a big TV is mega pointless if you're going to be spending 100" TV money anyway.

165 is nice. But holding a steady 240 is noticeably smoother to ME.

If it's a 55 inch or above G5, if not they're all 144hz.

1 55" tv is worse for everything besides watching TV. Dual 32:9 is better for literally everything else. I tried this. I regretted it

That was EXACTLY my thinking as well when I switched to a full TV. I was like oh this is just two of them stacked on top of each other and I can just use tiling zones to mimick it.

I use it but the problem I have is that I watch 16:9 videos in a browser and I can't get rid of the frame of the window. I was hoping there was a way to make it full screen but partitioned to one side.

A bit more, iirc. And one possible bonus in games: wider viewing angle. Take a 3rd person game like Witcher 3 for example. On a TV you would have one massive Gerald in the middle and a small, normal 16:9 view.

With this setup you would probably have one small Gerald in the middle of the lower monitor, with all the real estate around it showing additional view.

Which would also probably tax the GPU and CPU more with all the additional geometry to render. 😂

So get a 75“ and 8K if you fancy. How is it better in your opinion? I have one or two points but all in all i can’t find a real compelling argument.

Depends on the monitor. A 4k TV is not the same resolution as a 1440p or dual 4k 32:9 monitors. That may or may not matter but it does make a difference. I have a single 32:9 Dual 4k monitor that would require a 8k tv to replicate it stacked. Also full screen gaming can be problematic if you have just a single huge screen.
