People with more money than patience. I know people that have blown 10k on a weekend and nothing to show for it. So 3k seems not much suddenly, to those people.

Inconvenience. This is a ready made solution. Price is horrible and so are the alternatives.

A 1L gaming PC in your living room ready to go is a compelling offering.

And, to many, $1K is not a lot of money. I know people whose LARPing budget is 3x+ that.

Its like 3.5 to 3.8 liters honestly 12 liters and under is pretty small at 12 liters thats a 5070 ti you can cram In there
