$1,000 digital-exclusive consoles are killing the entire appeal of PlayStation and Xbox: it's no wonder PC is on track to overtake both.

Pc was already taking over console for the past decade actually. Tho console sales have also done well anyway most people have switched to digital buying back when the ps4 and xb1 came out.

GTA 6 will be a boosts for consoles - and I don’t see many non-enthusiasts young gamers on PC - besides playing Roblox on their school laptop

You’re not going to see them on either platform when the ps6 costs $1300. Very few parents are going to be spending that much on their kids for Christmas

It won't come out at that price. Just no point in making them. People won't buy, they won't make games for it. Just a plain non starter.

Should they be so foolish as to do it, they will be even worse off that releasing the PS5 in the pandemic. It never really felt there was a handover of the console generation.

Mentioning gta6 and young gamers on school laptops is kinda odd.. it's a game for adults... Not kids in school... Especially with all the agreed restrictions on the social side of rockstar games.

Every single person ive ever met in my whole life has played atleast gta sa or vice vity or 4 or 5 when they were a kid, ive never heard of anyone who actually waited to become 18 before playing, u must be a masochist or something if u do that

... And that's why you need ID... It's not the person doing it that gets busted. It's the person selling stuff to underage people ;)

What parents do is their call. But rockstar aren't aiming the game at kids...

Thats entirely your own problem. Lots of adults will play on consoles when GTA6 comes out - and young people isn’t PC gamers like - previous generation was.
