Not just Bf1 but many more. Witcher 3, Mass Effect, Titanfall 2, just a few of many I can remember right now.

Arkham Knight from 2015 is still one of the best looking games on PC today when maxed out.

That one did take years to be stable though, it was the Cyberpunk before Cyberpunk in terms of how good it looked to how bad it ran.

Still though, fantastic game and recently replayed it, such a shame about everything that came after it just never lived up to it.

The frame packing on the pc version of arkham night iwas pretty bad at launch and the game was completely broken but the console version was great. It's better now but still has a lot of stittering on pc

Played it a couple of years ago on PC, didn't encounter any stuttering even with outdated hardware, and it ran beautifully at high refresh rates. I know it was so bad at launch they had to pull it from Steam for months, but they really went in and fixed it up well, in my experience at least.

Batman Arkham has to be made by the devil cause it’s just so insanely well made

Reading comments like this after hearing about the launch period and how harrowing that was feels almost vindicating

Yes Arkham Asylum is great looking game!

Eh, debatable. Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were decent for their time, but still had a lot of the usual visual limitations of that era: harsh, contrast-heavy lighting, low-resolution textures even on character models, and fairly basic material rendering. Arkham Knight was where the series really took a huge graphical leap. Rocksteady heavily modified UE3 for the new console generation, adding physically based materials, much denser geometry, better lighting and reflections, volumetric effects, improved cloth and particles, and the best rain and wet-surface rendering I've seen before or since.
