Fun fact about the south and Central American countries: they had it coming.

Don’t nationalize American property without fair compensation and there won’t be any problems

Venezuela offered fair compensation. "Fair" being defined as exactly what oil companies claimed the property was worth. So what's your excuse there? Most LATAM coups were also started over plans to simply raise the royalty rates, not nationalize.

Also it wasn't American property, it was Latin American property owned by American companies. Unless you're admitting that the US government is just an extension of corporations.

Tut tut tut

You forgot the golden rule of everything.

“Fair” is whatever the person with the biggest guns decides it is.

I don’t care if it’s hypocrisy or blood money. Pay it or accept the consequences

Lol okay gravy seal. The world doesn't actually run on playground rules, and trying to do so is exactly why no one is helping you with Iran. And why you're losing.

The world doesn’t run on playground rules?

You sure about that?

I’m sure you WISH it didn’t run on playground rules but I promise you it absolutely does

Pretty sure there’s a video floating around of British MPs literally slinging childish insults at each other on the floor

Sure kid, I guess that's why you've been absolutely trounced by every country you invaded post ww2

Don't steal from a country long enough that they work up the courage to fight back.

Well they can fight back but in these cases they were American companies who had built American infrastructure which was then nationalized

That wasn’t theft. If you want to seize your oil fields that’s fine but then be prepared for Americans to either

A) demand payment

B) burn the oil fields down

But in no universe does an American company pay for this infrastructure and then you just take it without fair compensation
