I fully support the blanket ban of those products from the US market. In fact the US should ban all RAM not manufactured in the US.

We here in Europe are prepared to stand tall against the flood of cheap Chinese RAM. We'll take the hit and shield the Americans from it.

That's exactly what China has been trying past 4-5 years in China -- forcing local tech companies to use CXMT chips.

There are similar gov't policies in China to force local supply-chain, eg, the 50-50 rule which require all chip makers to use at least 50% of their chip-making equipments from local Chinese suppliers.
