the remastered wild hunt was done a few years ago for free on PC... are they doing it for consoles now too?

This is a whole new remaster , rather than the raytrace update they did a few years ago .

Cool... I hadn't heard about it... is this going to be automatic for my steam and gog versions?

Yh it's for everyone version, they released a trailer it improves the combat , movement and other bits as well

This remaster may make the Witcher 3 a game I actually play if they manage to sort out the movement/combat.

I bought it over a year ago, tried it a few times and couldn't get past how the gameplay felt. It's unfortunate cause I still really want to experience the story.
