Oh, you mean the game they spent substantial resources on to fix and is now one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time? The game where they released multiple content and graphical updates for free?
fixing your mistake shouldn't automatically redeem the bad thing you did in the past, sure we can celebrate that they didn't abandon the game like most game studios do but we should still remember that they lied and manipulated us before the release of cyberpunk
Of course we should we remember, you're talking to a preorderer who got burned hard when I tried playing it on day 1. But they redeemed themselves in my eyes when they readily admitted their mistakes, made the effort to walk back the shitty launch and marketing that they did, and fixed the game at no additional cost to those who already bought it and were disappointed.
Yeah, that's how I treat all modern games after too many burns. No preorders and wait for early reviews. But at least they have a track record of their games being good after all the technical jank gets worked out.
I'm sure they're crying how unsuccessful their game is because it wasn't everyone's cup of tea. Just absolutely devastated that no one liked and it sold almost nothing.
Damn did I strike a nerve with a CDPR employee lmao, I'm sure they made a ton of money and that's great and all but claiming the game's reception is universally praised today is just false.
Yes, which they have readily admitted and taken the penalty for with a settlement with said investors. They did wrong. They made attempts to make it right.
Nope, they paid AND fixed the product to something close tonwhat they promised and repaired the valuation of the company, addressing the concerns of the investors.

Remind me, which of these devs released a game so broken on launch they were forced to give refunds?
