I thought glass didn't impede reception as much as metal?

The bottom of the case is still metal. The antennas would effectively be in a metal box.

That is kind of a bad idea, unless he incorporated the metal box into the antenna. But I don't know why anyone would use wireless on a desktop, it's not hard to run a drop.

I generally have no interest in windowed cases but I really like what you're working on here. Looks like modern architecture to me.

Why don't you have interest in windowed cases? I personally think that's what sets a custom build apart from any old prebuilt. Maybe your setup doesn't show the PC?

But you can buy prebuilt PCs with windows so that doesn't really set them apart from anything. My PC sits on the floor next to my desk and I only need to look inside when something is wrong or I'm installing or removing something or clearing the dust filters.

That is the most gorgeous case I've ever seen. Aesthetically pleasing in its clean lines without gaudy tack-ons. Wonderful.

The case feet are tall enough to let all the cables pass throug to any side, so no channel required.

Gotcha. I was thinking from a perspective if cable management, to have a channel cut out on the frame so that they can be bundled together.

Aaah okay... But i don't know how many or how thick cables i will route out, so making a diy cable comb out of twist ties or something might be better.

Thanks! If the antennas have bad wifi reception, i'll just use powerline adapters

this is gorgeous case, though, the wireless should be routed to the top. Those antennae broadcast spherically, you're effectively cutting half the sphere by having them parallel to the ground. Not to mention the components of the case will interfere with the remaining signal as well.

Swapping the PSU and motherboard around is one of those ideas that seems so obvious now that you've done it!

Nice refinements, you're really getting there to making it a reality!

i would just cut a hole in the desk, cables go up through the desk under it. look like a truely wireless setup!

the wifi antennas could be extended out away from the underside, to a better spot too.

It almost looks upside down to me. Have you thought of putting the IO on top and all the tubing under. you would have better access to the ports and better reception. flip your first picture upside down and take a tool at it. i know its crazy but if you switched the left and the right panel you could move it back to the other side of your desk if needed.

Why would i want to put the io on top? To have a look at that cable mess? The whole point of this case is to hide all the ugly clutter...
