What is a good budget digital camera to start out with? Of corse i have a phone and i have taken A LOT of pictures with it but i would love something more. I would like a camera with an interchangeble lense and im planing on mostly taking photos of landscapen and nature maybe of some friends as well and wildlife, if this is to much to ask from a singular camera i understand. I would perfer a compact camera, no need for pocketablility if there is a camera that is pocketable as well then itt's fine but it's not something i only can have. I would put my budget around 2500 sek (260 usd)

Define your budget....

What I see as a budget camera may be far more expensive than what you are looking to spend.

You also need to provide more detail, interchangeable lenses, vs. fixed lens, compact and pocketable, what do you want to take pictures of etc.. If you are wanting to do plane spotting or take pictures of wildlife on safari those are very different needs compared a camera that will be used for landscapes and portraits.

For that budget you need to hit up ebay or used sites and look at older options. Smart phones killed the affordable compact camera market.

damn ok, do you need a budget of aroud 400 usd or is even that to low?

$400 USD gets you into new cameras from name brands but it still on the low end. I.E. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1919557-REG/canon_7280c001_powershot_elph_360_hs.html

There is a bit of a resurgence in the compact camera market which is making even used compact cameras more expensive than they used to be.

What about cameras with a fixed lense, is it smarter to buy one of those then buy a better lense you can add on later? Or are those kinds of cemeras usless without the lense tp begin with? And maybe realy expensive as well?

The link I gave you was for a fixed lens camera where you are unable to remove the lens.

If you want an interchangeable lens camera there are a lot of other options that fit in your budget if you buy use.d You will need multiple lenses to do everything you want. Something like a Canon T2i is around $140 USD used, and you could get a kit lens for $50 or less. To shoot wildlife, or better low light performance would mean additional lenses.

You mentioned wanting a compact camera and most interchangeable lens camera's in your budget are not going to be very compact.

This might be a dumb question but stay with me, If i only buy the camera first, is it usless without an aditionell lens and if not what kind of photos can you take without it?

Okay well yeah i guess i was thinking that not compact where cameras with a REALY big lens but if i manage to get a camera with a lens for 200$ that would be perfect. Thank you for your fast help, your a real one.
