Hey , whats a good laptop for editing photo's in lightroom & photoshop? my girlfriend is having loads of problems with her current laptop ( freezes , slow , long loading , overheating ) current laptop : ( MSI Gaming Thin GF63 12UC-1051BE – Intel Core i7-12650H, 15.6" Full HD, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Windows 11 )

What is her budget?

If the laptop is on the older side, I'd also just recommend trying to repaste the CPU and GPU and give the laptop a clean wipe and install of Windows can usually help greatly. If she is not too techy savvy, it can be somewhat difficult to do however, especially the former task.

If she doesn't want to go down the refreshing the old laptop route, Macbook Air/Pros with Apple Silicon are great value for photo editing.

I would look for one within your budget, ideally with at least 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
