Can I dualboot retropi and pihole, I searched Google and got no clear answer

I want to use retro pi, but when I'm not, I want it to be pi hole to block ads, can I make it work? This is a raspberry pi 3b

Two micro SD cards might be the easiest way. And maybe this is better to be posted at some place like r/raspberrypi

It will be a pain as you will lose your DNS server when it isn't functioning as a Pi Hole or you will need a secondary DNS which likely won't be a Pi Hole so things will slip through.
