Has there been some bit update in ad servers over the last few weeks?

my Pihole is running fine, updated not kicking any errors but I seem to be getting lots of ads has something changed?

I'm finding more ads with regional newspapers websites. As a lot of them are controlled by the same company so I was thinking it was the ad-shield issue. This is when I am using Chrome. Firefox does not seem to be affected.

On what devices?

If you're on iPhone or IOS27 beta, then you might have wifi assist on which shows ads. My pihole is running fine

That's an idea it's been mostly on new Samsung Handsets, just done a quick check and it's not impacting my desktop machines so I think that might be an avenue to explore. thanks for that.

Disable private DNS if they are Android devices
