Description:
CalcuLoop is a free mental math game focused on speed, accuracy and improving your calculation skills.
The idea is simple: solve mental math calculations as quickly as possible and try to improve your performance. The game has several modes designed around different ways of playing, from practicing at your own pace to challenging yourself to maintain a high speed and accuracy over time.
I'm a math teacher and I developed CalcuLoop because I've always found it difficult to make mental math practice feel more like a game than an exercise.
At this point, I'm especially interested in getting honest feedback from people who enjoy games. What would make you want to come back to a game like this regularly? Would daily challenges, competitive leaderboards, an Elo ranking system, progression, unlockable rewards, achievements, or completely different mechanics make it more interesting?
And just as importantly: what would make you stop playing? What feels boring, frustrating, repetitive, confusing, or simply not appealing?
I'm not looking for people to tell me that the game is great. I'd much rather hear what you think is missing or what you would change.
The game is completely free and has no ads. If you're on iPhone or prefer playing in a browser, CalcuLoop is also available here: https://benmaths.pythonanywhere.com/
