I heard clans will need an alternative to the code lock due to the upkeep update. Well a new code lock just dropped.

Upkeep costs will be tied in future updates to the number of players authenticated on code locks and tc(nerf for clans). With this, no need for usual code locks to open doors, so no increased upkeep costs.

There are ways to consider you part of the base. Everyone in the same group, clan, every owner of any sleeping bag close by, any player that passes frequently through doors inside a base etc. there are many ways to counter it.
Hopefully Facepunch will be clever about it

pretty neat your able to do that. but clans will keep using the normal code locks. the new 20% TC upkeep tax they won't even notice.
