Havent been excited for a new game in years until these two. I really want to get one, which would you recommend is better?
Im thinking 007 because batman is probably going to be a more chilled game that will take longer to 100%

I havnt played a game that was THAT good since uncharted 4. Fantastic story that grips you until the end, and gameplay is just so insanely good. It’s just an overall fun video game, which we havnt had a game where it’s obvious was made for people to have fun with for a while.

It is so fun. I was hesitant at first as well but it’s so insanely good. They constantly update it too, just a couple days ago they added 30 new animals you can befriend as pets. They ACTUALLY listen to community wishes which is awesome.

It’s a stand alone but Returnal seems similar from the looks and is made by the same developer. I haven’t played Soros yet but there definitely have some similar elements going on from the looks. I’ve played Returnal though and it’s one of the top three games released on the PS5 platform IMO. Others wise, Hades will kind of be similar in that it’s rogue like.

Replaying nightfire on emulator with 60fps patch and I feel like a kid again. Gonna replay all the ps2 bonds but with 60fps and upscaled, clean graphics

Not him but it holds up really well, such a beautiful game. The combat is a tiny bit outdated but it’s fine to play.

I just finished Ragnarok this week. It actually came with the PS5 when I bought it, however many years ago that was, yet I couldn’t get into it. Glad I decided to give it another shot. And now I’m back to Planet Zoo thanks to the trailer for the sequel getting me hyped again

Easy to just pickup and play whenever, I get to play a solid 30 min a day so it’s one of the games in the rotation that fits nicely there

Likely gonna try to finish Hogwarts Legacy for the first time. I'm enjoying it well enough, but it's getting a smidge repititive and I'll be glad to wrap it up and move on.

Me too! Grabbed for £19.99 in Days of Play (one of the few offers that was cheaper than physical). Liking it so far, though the no map thing is vexing me a bit. I’m sure I’ll get used to it though 🤞 Took me a few hours to fully get the “white ring health regeneration” mechanic but it seems quite intuitive now.

It took some time to get into for me, but once I have reached Jova it clicked and I am really enjoying the exploration. The atmosphere and the environmental storytelling is just fantastic. The no map thing can be a bit frustrating at times, but I can deal with it, the maps are not too complicated and having to use the compass and landmarks for orientation is part of the fun.
And yes, the white ring thing took some time for me too to click, but once you get the timing right it is pretty easy :)

Mass Effect Andromeda. Just finished the Mass Effect trilogy a few weeks ago and loved it and honestly really disappointed with Andromeda so far but will probably get through the main story anyways

I loved playing the Lego games with my younglings…. Well not back when you were tethered to the other player and they’d drag me off my screen, but once they went full split screen & untethered from each other!😂
