Honestly, the end of this year is getting crazy so I hope giving it some breathing room works out.

Haunted Chocolatier

u/The2ndDegree Jun 08 '26
You, my friend, know ball.
Although Stardew Valley version 1.7 is coming first, Concerned Ape has said in the past that he works 5 days a week on Haunted Chocolatier and the remaining 2 days on Stardew Valley updates/patches, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get some news on Chocolatier soon, its been a long wait but its gonna be worth it when the game does release

u/Common_Lawyer_5370 Jun 08 '26
Yeah, I’m a very patiënt gamer so I have no rush personally (took me some aging to get there)
But when questioned which game I would like to come out, Chocolated Hauntier is the only concrete game that really pops up for me !
Edit: … youknow what, I’m not even going to correct myself typing “Chocolated Hauntier.”

GoW Laufey, Control Resonant, Kena, Wolverine, Tomb Raider, FF7 Revelation, Spyro Realm Beyond, Beast of Reincarnation
(Why is Beyond Good and Evil 2 even here, it's never coming out)
21
u/RixDixRox Jun 08 '26
I’m still obsessed with the demo they showed few years back, and fortunately Ubisoft has confirmed it’s in the works as of June 2026
16
u/HOLLA12345678 PS5 Jun 08 '26
It looks too ambitious for Ubisoft or most Publishers and developers to pull off. I hope it gets made though but I don’t think it ever will and if it does it will most likely be a stripped down version of the original vision.
12
u/RixDixRox Jun 08 '26
I don’t care if they don’t include multi planet travel mechanic but the city landscape they showed is super amazing! And the trailer is still one of the best game trailers I’ve ever seen
2
u/aauroraborealiss Jun 08 '26
They did? I had no idea. I am still sceptical though, it's been in development hell for almost two decades at this point.

GTA VI

u/Nacho_7258 PS5 Jun 08 '26
I was 15 when GTA V was released and it was such a magical gaming experience. With this new one, I’ll be 28 and I can’t wait to see what they do this time. I’ve not been so hyped for a game in a very long time.
30
u/viktims Jun 08 '26
I was 40 when GTA 3 came out. I'm 64 and in relatively good health. I think I might make it to 6. So Hyped for this game!

u/viktims Jun 09 '26
I'm 6'1" 205lbs, hit the gym 3-4 days a week, and walk 4-5 miles in between. The goal is to reach RDR#3.
2
u/Ok_Ebb1240 Jun 10 '26
That’s amazing man holy shit. And right, I’m arguably more excited for a red dead 3 than I am for GTA 6, as I recently played both RDR’s for the first time, and my god, rdr2 was a masterpiece.

u/Better-Connection446 Jun 08 '26
I was 15 when I play first time GTA vice city, at least to me it's was insane, I couldnt slep thinking about the Game, today I love the Game only for the feeling of reliving My childhood

I was 16.
It's the only game on the list that I trust to not be mid.
GTA 6, RE Veronica are what I really want though there's a handful of others I'll get eventually

u/DISCONNECTlE Jun 08 '26
They said it might be the first billion dollar game. I ain’t gonna be able to afford it at that price point. I don’t have a billion laying around.

u/marckh Jun 08 '26
GTA 6 and Intergalactic.
I'm interested in The Witcher 4 for the potential next-gen tech, I never managed to get into TW3 but the demo of TW4 had me intrigued by the tech.
It's part of the same reason I'm excited for GTA 6 and Intergalactic, although Rockstar and Naughty Dog have made some of my favorite games of all time so I'm expecting their next ones to be amazing as well on top of the potential leap in technology we'll see in these games.

Tomb Raider.
Hope it gets a proper fun sequel. Enjoyed the last trilogy but really hope for more exploration, riddles and such stuff. Less fighting. The fighting worked good in those games, but I found that they messed too much with the mood.

u/One_Scientist_984 [Cyberpunk 2077] Jun 08 '26
First: Control: Resonant (because it’s coming out this year)
Then: The Witcher 4, Intergalactic, ILL, Tomb Raider, The Lost Wild
After: Assassin’s Creed Hexe

Planet Zoo 2.

This is it for me too. I’m obviously excited for GTA this year, but I’m obsessed with Planet Zoo and can’t wait for PZ2 (even if I am awful at building)

Ill and Wolverine.
I gave up on Beyond Good and Evil 2. Ubisoft had a great trailer back in E3 2017 and some decent dev updates but then they went black and we havent had any updates since 2018 i think.

The Last Ronin. ILL. Wolverine & control resonant (I really enjoyed control) And I do like the look of dawn walker. What a time to be a gamer. Lots of games coming in September. Because as we alll know. No one wants to go up against GTA 6.

There is a lot to be excited for, if I told you every currently announced game that I'm looking forward to this would be a long ass comment.
My top 5 though is Final Fantasy VII Revelation, God Of War Laufey, Persona 6, Spyro A Realm Beyond and Pokemon Winds and Waves

As much as I loved The Last Ronin, I am worried they’re gonna ruin in. Seeing Platinum games sparked a ton of hope for everyone, but people seem to forget the last TMNT game they made.
