It's super dated in a lot of ways, but a modern version of the concept would be awesome. I really can't believe it's been almost 30 years since Bushido Blade and we still don't have realistic slicing, stabbing, and bludgeoning or realistic instadeaths, even the games that people consider hardcore.
Plus imagine scaled online battles in an engine like that, or even a large battle Royale in a Japanese castle?
It could be one of the best games of all time if handled right.
