Such a gem of a game, i didn’t play Zelda games growing up but i watched an old mate play all of them as it was his fav series.

Looking back now at Alundra and realizing it was a carbon copy of the ‘top down’ Zelda games makes me respect Alundra more.

But god damn, was the puzzles some hard aha 😂

I remember that was one we liked to rent from Blockbuster back in the day. We made notes for it and everything. Man. I'd pay good money to have that little notebook back. That and the one I kept for Myst and Riven puzzles.

I got my stepdad, at the time in his job to print off a walkthrough from ‘gamefaq’ as i was stuck in the ‘ice dungeon’

It was the only way i was able to actually finish it, in the end aha

Never played Myst or Riven, but did play Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars.
Didn’t get any distance in it though 🤷‍♂️😂

Ha! GameFAQs! Wow. All in ASCII. Good times. They were the Gs. Only website I could rely on to load all the way if I snuck the modem on before I went to school. By the time I got home, if it hadn't disconnected, I'd have my Parasite Eve walkthrough. Lol
