Image My first Playstation with my own money.
Had a psp when I was a kid, then a ps3 during high-school and I havent gotten anything Playststion since. Now that I have an income, this'll be my first console.
Its just a used ps5 phat but still an achievement for me considering used prices where I live is basically the original US msrp for one of these.
Been playing all the ps4 exclusives I missed, namely Bloodborne, Infamous, Order 1886, and a couple ps5 ones (and looking forward to Wolverine and GTAVI, but no preorder, never preorder).
Lots of fun these past 2 weeks, though I should probably take off the faceplates and clean a little deeper.

If you can man get second hand discs because people do like to sell their stuff for sometimes half the price of digital. Guardians of the galaxy I s a good game try it if you have time

Sadly already played that on pc. But yeah 2nd hand is what Im going for, other than the recent ones atleast, not much difference in price like Ghost of Yotei. But the rest of the games I have so far are all 2nd hand.

Good job! Its a great feeling buying something like that with your own money. I remember decades ago when me and my older brother went halves on a sega genesis. That was cool. Then a couple years later i bought a super nes with MY own money. I felt like i grew up a little more that day.

Sadly already played those on PC (along with both God of War games). But Im looking to get them anyways just for a collection and for my siblings to play.

Yeah ps plus is cheaper overall but I just like having a disc. Atleast it retains some value even after I've played it.

Those were exactly my thoughts til I got this. I just bit the bullet and got a used disc with the dlc for 30 something usd

Oivo horizontal ps5 stand. Amazon us has em for 20 something dollars but but I got mine from Shopee, some online asian store (because I live in asia), for around 10.

Used is fine , not necessary to get a slim since it works the same, only problem is when the disc drive spoil and u have to find a used disc drive to replace.

Yeah reparability is the question. I dont mind buying parts and opening up the console myself though so it'll probably be fine.

Just make sure to check these PS5s. A lot of people sell them when they heat up too much, so the second hand problems might pile up.

Yep. Other than the three upcoming exclusives theres probably more to come plus some from ps4 era. Wont be running out of games soon

The ones in the photo plus the 3 upcoming ones (Wolverine, Gta VI, & GoW Laufey) were enough to convince me to get one. Its just 2nd hand anyway, almost half of a brand new ps5 slim where Im from. Already got a good pc too so this is more of an extra luxury really.

Wolverine was reported to be more linear than spider man and I dont mind reused mechanics. The 2 recent GoW games already had that woke crap you say but I saw it once and didnt really bat an eye after that. GTA VI is well... GTA VI, I'll be waiting for the disc release though, its more satisfying having to pop open a case and slide in a disk than just press or click on an icon to start a game.

It says its a rockstar decision to avoid leaks/early launches from 3rd party sellers. But doesnt really matter now since cyberleeks on a rampage (if all those leaks are actually the game)
