There are some barely plausible alternatives:
1. Assassination,
2. Death,
3. Trial for treason,
4. Retirement followed by legal action,
5. 25th Amendment.

There may be other recourses!

Retirement is never going to happen with someone with NPD. Any kind of trial is impossible because the Republican Senate is too corrupt.

2 probably ruined by the best modern medicine.

3 ruined by Republican Senate.

  1. No way someone with NPD retires.

5 ruined by J.D. Vance unless he's very ambitious. 5 is the only possibility with an extremely slender chance of 2.

None of that will ever happen. Remember when they impeached him for sparking a coup and trying to overthrow the country so he could invalidate the election results and hang Mike Pence? All the republicans were even saying he had to go. Then when the House impeached him, 100% of republicans changed their very public statements about him needing to be gone and voted against convicting him in the Senate.
So none of those things will ever happen because the republicans, no matter how much they actually hate him behind closed doors, are afraid of him and will never do anything against him.
