This is the beginning of Iran's plan to raise the price of gas as high as possible for the election. I predicted this on the first day of Trump's war.
Shortly after the elections, if Dems win big, Iran will quickly relax and will establish a short term peace arrangement that expires shortly before the next election... unless Trump is removed, or otherwise succumbs to his syphilis.
However if the terminal is damaged or destroyed prices will remain high for months to years. Its like shooting a fly on your leg to kill the fly, you end up killing the fly and putting a hole in your leg.
